I haven't taken much time to post what has been going on with us lately. Mostly because there hasn't been much to post about, but also because I have kept myself pretty busy with this photography stuff. It has been fun, and definitely a learning experience! I love that it is something that Dan and I can do together, that has made it extra special! But I think that it has kept me so busy because on top of taking the time out to take and edit pictures for people, I am taking just as much (or more) time out trying to learn how to do that! :)
I also have to CONGRATULATE and brag about Dan for now being NICET level 2 certified! He has been working for 2 years to certify, and he is already scheduled to take the level 3 test in August! This isn't an easy thing, and there are only a handful of people in the state that has this type of certification. Not only has he studied on his own, but for the past 2 years, he has gone into work extra early every Wednesday to teach a class on it. So, he really has worked hard, and has done so well!
And what is a post without pictures of EASTON?? I really need to do better about posting the cute things that he says and does. It doesn't seem that I could ever forget him at this stage, but I think that I do more quickly than I realize. Right now he loves to sing, he will sing and hum all day long! He loves singing nursery songs, but it's funny because he won't even attempt it while he's at church. He's getting so grown up and has to do EVERYTHING by himself. And he just ADORES his Daddy and will stick up for him. Yesterday Easton and I picked Dan up from work to take him to lunch, and we were waiting in the car for him to be ready. I told Easton that Daddy was being slow, and he got so defensive and almost hurt that I would say such a crazy thing, and said "NO WAY, Daddy is FAST!".
I could probably go on all day about that kid. He is so funny. But here are some pictures that Dan took a couple of weeks ago when it was so rainy out.

Sorry to burst your bubble Easton but it's true. Your dad is slow.
Tell Easton that slow and steady wins the race! I'm not entirely sure what Dan's certifications are, but John had to study a lot for a bunch of certifications (don't know what his are either) but I do know it was a lot of work! Congratulations Dan! Thank you for taking such good care of my baby sister!
Easton is a doll! I'm going to miss him so much, not to mention you, Carie! Those pictures are priceless!
What awesome pictures!! You need to teach me a thing or three. Congrats to Dan!
