Easton with his cousin Nick!

Easton has a cousin that is only 6 weeks older than him, and it is so fun to get them together to play. They both are getting to be at such a fun age where they are realizing that they are both there, and they interact with each other much more than before.

What an awesome year... 2007!

So, I stole this idea from someone else to post a few events that made 2007 such a great year... Here I go...
I cut my hair shorter than I have had it in a long time! It's mostly grown out now, I am not very good at keeping up with a style.
Before... After...

We went to Disneyland! Easton even went on a few rides, as well. This is easton on "It's a small world, he loved it!"

Easton learned to...Roll over
and Crawl!

He had his FIRST...Taste of Food
and Haircut

Dan had a pretty busy year...

In July, Dan got promoted at his work, and he is no longer a Technician, but now has an OFFICE JOB! I like it better, because he isn't driving all over Utah/Idaho everyday... just Draper. (He probably isn't going to like that I posted this picture of him, but it was the only one I could find of him in his work shirt...but it does show his tiredness that also came with his new position :0)
He also Started... then Stopped his own furniture building company, DB Design. It was fun while it lasted, but he realized that he needed a little more practice. But I have a feeling that furniture building will be a big part of his life (I really mean OUR life) for a LONG TIME!

Here is one of many projects that he did during that time, an entertainment center that he built from knotty alder for a neighbor that had moved.

He also had an oil painting of his on exhibit at the Springville Museum of Art from October-December. (see previous postings)

We really had an awesome year, and am so greatful to have such good memories.

EaStOn Is WaLkInG!

The big day has come, and our little guy has finally started walking! He is a little unsure of himself still, but this has definately come on pretty quickly. It is almost as if he decided the other day that he would just give this walking thing a try, and he is quite proud of himself.

My New Year's Resolution

So... anyone that knows me, knows that I would rather spend my time doing anything other than cleaning. Unfortunately, I don't enjoy spending my days in a messy house. See the problem? So, with the new year comes a resolve to keep my home clean, with as little effort from me as possible. How you ask? I decided that our biggest problem in our cleaning habits (or lack of) is that our home isn't organized enough. Not every single item in our possesion has it's own perfect little spot, and we don't throw enough stuff away. Our version of cleaning, is anything that we don't know what to do with either goes into our spare room upstairs or our basement. When we clean the spare room upstairs, it then gets transfered to our basement (and in no orderly fashion, either). Yesterday I started my resolve to ORGANIZE! The best place to start? Our basement! Today, Dan and I have a big date with walmart, and these...

Wish me luck... by the time I am finished, I am hoping to have developed some degree of obsessive-compulsiveness with this.
