*~Home Sweet Home~*

So here they are... here are some pictures of our new place in Riverton that we moved into about a month ago. Now, these are more of a "before" type of deal. We are in the middle/beginning of painting and decorating, so bear with us. When we are finished, we will try to post some "after" shots.
KiTcHeN:
Here is a shot looking in on it from the dining room, We painted the walls a light blue, and installed those bar lights. We are also planning on doing a tile backsplash, and installing some type of hardware on the cabinets.

This is looking into the dining room from the family/living room. We are in the middle of putting up the wane's coating on the dining room/kitchen walls, and building a pillar type thing on the archway. (remember, these are before shots!)

Just a closer look at what will be the wane's coating.

FaMiLy RoOm:

What would a house of ours become if we didn't put MANY holes in our walls? Here is Dan installing his dream of a better sound system in our home. (Our poor neighbors!)

I thought this looked kind of funny, so I took a picture.

As far as the paint goes, we painted the walls tan, with one accent wall blue. It's hard to tell from this picture, but it's the same blue from the kitchen.
And here is my dream of owning a new couch! :)

That is pretty much it for now, but when we get more done as we go I am wanting to post the process and hopefully we will be getting to some "after" shots here soon!

After the downstairs is finished, we will finish painting our bedroom and then is the fun task of a new room for Easton!

What is a post without a couple of pictures of our pride and joy?

My NeW fAvOrItE pLaCe!

Saturday, Dan and I went on a date to the ChEsSeCaKe FaCtOrY! Can I say YUMMY? Besides the fact that we waited outside in the HOT SUN for 45 minutes to be seated (even though we arrived well before the normal dinner rush), and that when we did get seated, we were squished onto a little table that was a little too close to a big group, it was great! The food was great and the cheesecake was divine!
I totally recommend this restraunt to anyone who has never been there before, if for nothing else besides the cheesecake! Dan really really hates cheesecake and he even loved his!

Here we are waiting outside. These pictures were taken on Dan's sweet new iphone. While we were waiting we were able to get on youtube from his phone and watch clips of Brian Regan. (Which I also recommend for people who haven't heard of him.)

~another side note: have any of you ever noticed that the longer you are together with your spouse + kids just means that it is impossible for you to get that "cute" picture of you two together?~ Maybe it's just that way for us?

And for the best part of the night... the Cheesecake. Dan's was the "Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake", and mine was the classic "Strawberry Cheesecake"! Both were OH so yummy!

Update

Some of you guys already know, but yesterday I went into the hospital and had a d & c, as a result of miscarrying our baby. Dan and I were both pretty devistated by the news, but are now doing a lot better. To be completely honest, I felt like I was miscarrying when I was 6 weeks along. We went into the doctor, had and ultrasound, and we saw the heart beating. Then we went in for our 8 week appt. and everything was going fine then as well. So, with 2 ultrasounds and being past 8 weeks, I felt it to be okay to share the happy news.
We felt like this pregnancy was so perfectly timed and planned out, it was exactly the spacing (almost to the month) that I wanted for Easton's little brother or sister. And I felt that the time of year was a good time to be pregnant (to enjoy all of the holiday treats).
I know that our Heavenly Father has an even bigger plan for our family, and we are now putting our trust in Him.

Thanks so much for all of the LoVe, HeLp and SuPpOrT that all of you have given us at this time.

Back to Life as I knew it!

We only lived in our summer village townhome for 2 1/2 years, but I totally forgot what it was like to move! Life kind of falls apart. Luckily, this is only temporary, and after being without internet for over two weeks, I came back to 105 email messages, 138 new blog posts to read, and I am grossly uninformed on what is new for the online baby clothes industry! It's definatley going to take some time to catch up!

Things are still not set up, but I promise to posts some pictures of our new place as soon as they are! We are loving our new place and are so excited to have everyone over to see it! I do have to say that I am going a little crazy with all white walls, though. But it will all have to come in it's own time.

Other NEWS from our family:

We are expecting baby bischoff #2! We are due February 9, 2009. We couldn't be happier! Yay!

Our weekend in Logan

Dan's latest project consisted of building new kitchen cabinet's for Dan's sister, Chanda and her family in Logan. I think that this was the biggest project that he has ever done, and he has really worked hard at it! It's not quite finished yet, and after we get moved (this Saturday... yikes!) we will be heading back up to finish it off.

While Dan was doing all of the hard work, Easton and I played! Easton loves having so many cousins to play with, and he was very sad to leave!

Easton's Big Boy Bed!

The time has come, and when we move we are leaving the crib behind! This is a toddler bed that I found at Walmart (not too bad, right?) and we are going to set it up for Easton in his new room! Dan is totally devistated that I don't want him to build one, but with the busyness of the move and his kitchen cabinet project... I just know that it will be for the best (for all of us) to just buy one. I will let everyone know how it goes, and please, any advice on the matter would be much appreciated!
